28. Stage <strong>of</strong> <strong>Training</strong>. All training <strong>of</strong> a particular type<br />
(Ground, Contact, Instrument, Navigation, Formation, Tactical,<br />
Radar, Strike, Advanced Tactical Maneuvering) within a phase.<br />
The first letter in the lesson designator identifies the stage<br />
<strong>of</strong> each lesson. (For example, R2190 is in the Radar stage.)<br />
29. Standardization Instructor. The squadron commander will<br />
designate the SIs for each stage.<br />
30. Student Monitoring Status. Squadron-initiated status to<br />
address substandard IUT performance.<br />
31. <strong>Training</strong> Media. MNTS media include aircraft, cockpit<br />
procedures trainers (CPTs), ground training, and CAI. The<br />
second character in the lesson identifier designates the<br />
training media.<br />
32. <strong>Training</strong> Review Board. A fact-finding board appointed to<br />
conduct an administrative review <strong>of</strong> circumstances and procedures<br />
relative to an FPC recommendation for an IUT’s elimination.<br />
33. Warmup Event (XXX86). Additional events given to allow an<br />
IUT to regain a level <strong>of</strong> pr<strong>of</strong>iciency previously demonstrated,<br />
which has diminished due to an extended break in training.<br />
