Located on the corner <strong>of</strong> Ohio Street and<br />
Pine Street, the Williams Park (a.k.a. Ohio<br />
Street Park) has three tennis courts,<br />
basketball court (two hoops) and a new<br />
playground , park benches, picnic tables,<br />
paved play area, five benches, bike rack,<br />
and a drinking fountain. Restrooms<br />
(portable) are available on a seasonal basis.<br />
Harlow Park<br />
Occupying a typical city size block located on<br />
Washington Street between Seventh and Morgan<br />
Streets, Harlow Park has a grassy open space,<br />
paved play area, swings, slides, see-saws, large<br />
play tires, climbing apparatus, asphalt surface<br />
basketball court (two hoops), tetherball pole, bike<br />
rack, 16 park<br />
benches,<br />
picnic tables,<br />
a drinking<br />
fountain and<br />
a utility building. Restrooms (portable) are provided<br />
seasonally. The approximately five acre historic park has a<br />
variety <strong>of</strong> large conifers, and deciduous trees arranged<br />
symmetrically (with benches) paralleling Washington Street.<br />
There is also an established walkway system with period<br />
style lighting. The <strong>Marquette</strong> Area Veterans Memorial was<br />
constructed at Harlow Park with 10 benches.
