Need for <strong>Recreation</strong> Programs/Activities<br />
From a list <strong>of</strong> 25 recreation programs and activities available within the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Marquette</strong> or<br />
Chocolay Township, respondents were asked to indicate which ones they and members <strong>of</strong> their<br />
household have a need for. The following summarizes key findings:<br />
Four <strong>of</strong> the 25 recreation programs/activities had at least 60% <strong>of</strong> respondent<br />
households indicate they have a need for it. These four programs/activities include:<br />
running or walking (77%), visiting nature areas/spending time outdoors (74%), attending<br />
community special events (62%), and attending live theater/concert performances<br />
(60%).<br />
