The Jinnah Hydropower Project is being financed through supplier’s credit. The utilization of Foreign Loan / supplier’s credit in above statement<br />
based on figures provided by the M/s. DEC China. However, there is no foreign loan utilization in Project Books and no IPC’s are submitted by the<br />
Contractor as it is an EPC / Turnkey basis Project.<br />
Physical Progress / Status<br />
PC-I for the Construction of O&M Staff Colony approved on 19.11.2009 for Rs. 253.07 m.<br />
Civil works of Powerhouse, Headrace & Tailrace Channels are almost completed. M/s DEC<br />
have conducted 72 hrs. reliability test at 2200 hrs. on 08.02.2012, but as per Consultants the<br />
same 72 hrs. reliability test will be conducted again as previously it was not conducted with<br />
maximum generation of 12 MW continuously. The first Unit has also been synchronized with<br />
National Grid.<br />

*Being an EPC contract only mobilization advance of 15% has been paid to the contractor; Rest<br />
85% is arranged under supplier’s credit by the contractor.
