Detailed Engineering & Tender Documents completed on Feb. 29, 2004 by M/s. NDC Joint Venture.<br />
PC-I (Rs.25.399 Billion) submitted to GOP/GONWFP for approval on July 31, 2004. Discussed in<br />
CDWP meeting held on 7.3.2005.<br />
PC-I amounting to Rs. 61.087 billion cleared in principle by CDWP in its meeting held on March 18,<br />
2010 for approval of ECNEC.<br />
A committee under Chairmanship of Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission was constituted to<br />
deliberate on the issues relating financing, engineering and economics of the Project.
