EMANUEL (English Rose. David Austin)<br />
This is a very robust and free flowering rose, bearing large, rosette shaped flowers that are cupped<br />
at first, the petals later reflexing.<br />
The colour is apricot, paling to cream on the outer petals, the whole flower paling to cream with age.<br />
The blooms are produced very freely in large clusters, elegantly poised on the end of slightly arching<br />
stems. Is also shade tolerant.<br />
They have a delightful Tea Rose fragrance. Named for "The Crocus Trust" .<br />

EMILY (Emily Gray) (Rambling Rose)<br />
A popular lovely old rambler has deep gold flowers infused with buff shades and with yellow<br />
stamens.<br />
The blooms are borne in clusters, and although it is only summer flowering it occasionally repeats<br />
later in the season. Quite a stunning rose in full bloom. One of the healthiest of all the<br />
yellow ramblers.<br />
It has dark, glossy bronze foliage on an extremely vigorous plant with pliable canes.<br />
A good rose for pergolas and arches and for growing into trees.<br />
Will tolerate a North wall and partial shade, Fragrant.<br />
Winner of the National Rose Society Gold Medal.<br />
Bred by Dr A H Williams who named this rose after his sister.<br />
EMMA (Lady Emma Hamilton) (English Rose. David Austin)<br />
Quite a bright colour for an English Rose but very useful for creating a little excitement in the<br />
border.<br />
The tight buds are a most wonderful dark red with dashes of orange. When fully open the flowers<br />
are a lovely mixture of a rich, almost tangerine-orange with a more yellow-orange back to the petals;<br />
the whole is set off against the very dark, bronzy green leaves.<br />
A fairly upright but bushy shrub of medium height that flowers freely and remains healthy.<br />
A strong delicious fruity fragrance, with hints of pear, grape and citrus fruits. Won first price at the<br />
fragrance trials in Nantes.<br />
Named after Horatio Nelson's lover to commemorate the Battle Of Trafalgar.<br />
ENA (Ena Harkness) (Hybrid Tea Rose)<br />
An outstanding velvety-red hybrid tea rose. Very free flowering and vigorous.<br />
Attractive leathery foliage. This variety was bred for cool climates where blooms can be of the<br />
highest exhibition quality.<br />
It has the true Damask perfume of its parent 'Crimson Glory' and has been grown all over the<br />
world since the 1950s<br />
Excellent disease resistance. Highly Recommended. Powerful Fragrance.<br />
A very famous rose which was bred by an amateur, Albert Norman who was later to become president<br />
of the National Rose Society. Introduced by the Harkness family and named after the prominent flower arranger.<br />

ERNEST (Ernest H Morse) (Hybrid Tea Rose)<br />
A superb free flowering rose of bright turkey red often with a white streak.<br />
The beautiful large blooms are often 4 to 5ins across Retains its colour well and the continuity of<br />
blooms is excellent.<br />
Plenty of healthy disease resistant foliage One of the best of the red hybrid tea roses.<br />
Extremely fragrant.<br />
Has been popular for over 50 years due to its colour, perfume and reliability.<br />
Royal National Rose Society Gold Medal 1965.<br />
This rose was bred in Germany and named after the English nurseryman who introduced it.<br />
