Knox Medical Department Activities<br />

or other course deemed appropriate<br />

by the Occupational Therapy<br />

Specialty Leader;<br />

or<br />

b. Completed a minimum of 5 years<br />

experience in an orthopedic-based<br />

clinic with proven clinical ability<br />

<strong>and</strong> performance;<br />

<strong>and</strong><br />

c. Completed a 6 month<br />

preceptorship. An orthopedic h<strong>and</strong><br />

surgeon must accept responsibility,<br />

provide supervision throughout this<br />

6 month period, <strong>and</strong> provide the<br />

<strong>officer</strong> with a minimum of 2 written<br />

performance evaluations.<br />

A Medical Officer who is BE/BC<br />

<strong>and</strong> has completed an ACGME<br />

approved residency in Physical<br />

Medicine/Rehabilitation <strong>and</strong> has<br />

completed a 2 year approved<br />

advanced residency in Spinal Cord<br />

rehabilitation.<br />

Officer who has completed 4 years<br />

of approved training in a combined<br />

Anatomic <strong>and</strong> Clinical Pathology<br />

program (APCP-4)<br />
