be at least BE in Child/Adolescent<br />

Psychiatry with the American Board<br />

of Psychiatry <strong>and</strong> Neurology.<br />

Officer who is BE/BC in Psychiatry<br />

<strong>and</strong> has:<br />

a. 3 years of full-time experience;<br />

or<br />

b. 1 year of ACGME approved<br />

advanced residency in Clinical<br />

Neurophysiology (advanced<br />

residency only after 1997);<br />

<strong>and</strong><br />

c. the added qualification certificate<br />

in Clinical Neurophysiology from<br />

the American Board of Psychiatry<br />

<strong>and</strong> Neurology.<br />

Officer who has general psychiatry<br />

<strong>and</strong> has met the <strong>Navy</strong> board<br />

requirements which includes<br />

specialized training in an ACGME<br />

approved psychiatry training<br />

program in the field of<br />

Community/Preventive Psychiatry.<br />

Officer who is BE/BC in general<br />

psychiatry <strong>and</strong> has completed a 1<br />

year ACGME approved fellow-ship<br />

in Consultation/Liaison Psychiatry<br />
