Eagle Project
Task Description
Project Idea Develop a rough idea for your Eagle Project
and discuss with your contact person at the
benefiting organization and then with the Troop
Eagle Advisor prior to beginning.
Project Oral Approval Once the Troop Eagle Advisor has verbally
approved your project idea, you can begin the
Eagle Project Scout
Workbook
Leadership Project
Guidelines
formal efforts to plan and write-up the project.
Upon receiving the oral approval to begin
writing-up the project, download the Eagle
Scout Project Workbook from the Troop
Resources page and review.
Download the Leadership Project Guidelines
document from the Troop Resources web page
and review.
Complete Workbook Working closely with the Troop Eagle Advisor,
complete the Eagle Project Workbook.
Generally this requires several revisions.
Workbook Approval Once the workbook is approved by the Troop
Eagle Advisor, obtain the signatures of the
Eagle Advisor, Project Sponsor, and
Scoutmaster. Make four copies, keeping one.
Give the original and 3 copies to the Eagle
Advisor to submit to the District Advancement
Committee.
District Approval The District will require 4-6 weeks to review
and approve your project. No work can begin
until you receive this approval. Once the
