Committee Chairman.
Eagle Packet and Copies Assemble the Eagle Packet: Application,
Personal Statement, and full Project
Workbook. Make 3 copies and bring the
original and all copies to the Eagle Advisor.
District Approval The Troop Eagle Advisor will submit it to the
District for review.
Eagle Board You will be notified by the Troop Eagle
Advisor of the date of your Eagle Board. You
must appear in full uniform with all
appropriate insignia on your uniform and merit
badge sash.
District Approval You will be notified during the Board whether
you have been approved for Eagle.
National Approval Once approved by the District, your
application must be approved by the Council
and submitted to the National Boy Scouts of
America. This process will take between 4-6
weeks from your Eagle Board.
Eagle Ceremony
Task Description
Pick a Location Decide where you want to hold your Eagle
ceremony and contact the facility directly to
check available dates. The ceremony date
should be at least one month after the Eagle
Board of Review, to allow time to receive the
medallion from Boy Scout headquarters. You
should allow at least 3 hours for set-up, the
ceremony, the reception, and clean-up.
