Eagle Application
Task Description
Requirement Completion Upon approval by the Troop Eagle Troop
Advisor that all requirements have been met,
you can begin to complete the Eagle
Application. The Troop Eagle Advisor will
provide you with the official application, or
you can complete the application online at
www.nesa.org and print it out. Note that the
final Eagle requirement is a Scoutmaster
Conference, which you should schedule now.
Draft Application Complete all sections (except for the
signature section) for the Troop Advisor to
review. Also go ahead and write your
Statement of Ambitions and Life Purpose.
You should attach your most recent Individual
History Report and have a copy of your Eagle
Project Workbook when you review the Eagle
Letter of
Recommendation
Final Application and
Signatures
Application with the advisor.
Contact the 5 people who will write your
letters of recommendation (6 if you have an
employer), and add their names, addresses,
and telephone numbers to the application. The
Eagle Advisor will tell you how these letters
should be addressed.
Upon approval from the Troop Eagle Advisor,
complete the official Eagle Scout Application
and sign it on page two. Do not enter the
signature date until checking with the Eagle
Advisor. Make appointments with the
following individuals in this order:
• Signature of Unit Leader – This should
be signed by the Scoutmaster. It is
often done at the time of the
Scoutmaster Conference, but may be
done later.
