camp. If you have already done some work on a merit badge and have been signed
off on some of the requirements, bring a copy of your blue card to camp. In this
way, if you finish the requirements at camp, you will receive a completed “blue
sheet” from the camp counselor.
Reminders:
1. Wear your Class A uniform on the bus when we depart from Lovett on Sunday
morning.
2. Bring any checks required for final payments, activities, or Troop T-Shirts.
3. If you are doing the swimming merit badge, bring a pair of loose-fitting long
pants and a long-sleeved shirt that you don't mind getting wet.
4. If you are doing the environmental science merit badge, bring an empty 2-3
liter plastic bottle, which will be used to make your terrarium.
5. If you are taking any nature or ecology merit badge, bring a logbook to record
things in.
6. If you are taking basketry, sculpture, leatherwork, Indian lore, woodcarving,
archery, or space exploration, you will need extra money to buy the required
materials at the Trading Post.
7. All scouts are required to have both Class A and Class B uniforms. (See
descriptions in this guide) All scouts will be expected to wear their uniforms at
the appointed times, without exception. If you do not have the proper uniforms
you will not be allowed to leave with the rest of the group. Your parents will
have to get you the proper uniforms and bring you to camp when you are fully
prepared.
