6.2. Five-Level Upgrade Requirements. Airframe specific 5-level core tasks were developed with a standard of load/unload and configure aircraft for flightline personnel; one launcher and one rack for backshop personnel. There were 134 5-level core tasks added (3 general, 60 flightline, and 61 backshop). Additional training on Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) will be added to 2.14.1.1. Supply Discipline and Total Force Integration (TFI) will be added to 2.3 Relationship to AF Commands and Missions. There were no new tasks nor changes to proficiency levels for the 5-level CDCs. 6.3. Seven-Level Upgrade Requirements. There were 5 new 7-level core tasks added: Handling of Explosive Loaded Aircraft, Use CAS, Maintain Training Records, Review MIS Automated Histories, and Use AF Form 2430. The 7-level CDCs added training on Total Force Integration (TFI) against 2.3 Relationship to AF Commands and Missions. The 7-level resident course will modify training on IMDS. 6.4. Nine-Level Upgrade Requirements. There were no changes to the 9-level course. 6.5. Proficiency Training. No changes were made to FTD proficiency training. 6.6. In-Resident Training Notes: 6.6.1. A munitions matrix will be maintained with the CFETP within TBA to annotate munition applicability for resident course training. 6.6.2. Students assigned to B-2 units will attend the B-52 (J3ABR2W131K003) course due to the small number of students requiring this training. 6.6.3. When training the LAU-128 (F-15) and the LAU-129 (F-16), the schoolhouse will cover knowledge on recycling the forward dampeners. 6.6.4. F-16 resident training requires Stores Management System (SMS) loading and clearing and system operational/functional checks to be conducted on a Block 40 or later aircraft. 6.6.5. Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) resident training (J3ABR2W131Q051) will cover training specified in the STS for MQ-1 and MQ-9. 6.6.6. Special Missions resident training (J3ABR2W131Z048) will cover training specified in the STS for AC-130H, AC-130U, HH-60, and CV-22. 7. Community College of the Air Force. Enrollment in CCAF occurs upon completion of Basic Military Training (BMT). CCAF provides the opportunity to obtain an Associate of Applied Sciences Degree. In addition to its associate’s degree program, CCAF offers the following: 7.1. Professional Certification. CCAF offers multiple professional certifications based on specific education, experience and qualification requirements. Two certifications are listed below. 7.1.1 CCAF Instructor Certification (CIC). The CIC program replaced the Occupational Instructor Certification (OIC) on 1 January 2011. The purpose of the CIC is to recognize the instructor's extensive faculty development training, education and qualification required to teach a CCAF course and formally acknowledges the instructor's practical teaching experience. 7.1.2. Professional Manager Certification (PMC): CCAF offers the PMC for qualified senior Air Force enlisted personnel who have demonstrated an advanced level of professional accomplishment. The purpose of the certification is to recognize the individual’s outstanding education and training required to lead and manage Air Force personnel and critical national defense assets. 7.3. Trade Skill Certification. When a CCAF student separates or retires, a trade skill certification is awarded for the primary occupational specialty. This certification translates the member’s last PAFSC skill-level into terms understood by prospective employers (i.e.: Apprentice, Journeyman, Craftsman / Supervisor, and Master Craftsman / Manager.) All are transcribed on the CCAF transcript. 7.4. Degree Requirements. All airmen are automatically entered into the CCAF program. Technical Education (24 Semester Hours): Twenty-four semester hours are required to fulfill the technical education requirement. Twelve semester hours must be applied from the technical core area with the remaining 12 applied from either the technical core or the technical elective areas. Completion of the initial skills resident training satisfies all or part of the technical education requirement. 7.3.2. Leadership, Management, and Military Studies (LMMS) (6 Semester Hours): Professional military education and/or civilian management courses may be used to fill this requirement. The preferred method of completing LMMS is through attending Airman Leadership School (ALS), the Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) academy and/or the Air Force Senior NCO Academy. 7.3.3. Physical Education (4 Semester Hours): Completing basic military training satisfies the 4-semester-hour physical education requirement. 7.3.4. General Education (15 Semester Hours): The general education requirement is satisfied by applying courses accepted in transfer or by testing credit. The CCAF General Education 9
