Erwin Sattler offers the collector of high-quality wristwatches
a unique presentation experience – the kind of equally
valuable stage that these precious timepieces deserve. The
high demands that the Erwin Sattler manufactory places upon
itself in terms of the design and quality of its precision clocks
were the prerequisite for this unique new definition of the
watch winder.
Thus, it is no wonder that Erwin Sattler uses a precision
gold-plated gear train for energy transmission between the
motor and the wristwatch support. The visible hard brass gear
wheels are not stamped, but rather precision milled and then
gold-plated. The barrel arbors, the gear wheels, and the three
front spoke wheels rotate upon a total of ten stainless steel ball
bearings per wristwatch. This avoids wear and tear while
minimizing noise. At the same time, these attributes make a
beautiful statement and provide a distinctive look.

on page 93 and 94.
Naturally also this watchwinder runs independently for a few
months because of its integrated battery.
Naturally, the case is also manufactured in typical
Sattler quality.
Thirteen layers of black varnish are carefully applied to
precious wood that has aged for years, with the walnut root
wood pieces laboriously polished by hand.
Anti-reflective coating on both sides of the glass allows a
perfect view of the precious gear train – and, of course, the
valuable watches located within.
New developed wristwatch holders can accommodate
very large watches.
