Wood with Metal Inlay – Metallica 1735 – The Modern Precision Clock Line
The Metallica 1735 model, in our middle range of sizes at
105 centimeters, is easily integrated into any living situation.
A combination of wood and metal inlays lends the case
a contemporary appearance.
The movement is outfitted with ten precision ball bearings and
two jewel bearings. Gold-plated gear wheels drive the
temperature-compensating 5/6-second invar pendulum.
A cutaway in the silver-plated regulator dial allows a view
of the Graham escapement with its agate pallets, and a
barometer reliably compensates variation in air pressure on
the elegant double-cylinder pendulum.
The ball bearing tungsten weight located off to the side makes
a power reserve of one month per winding interval possible.
Thanks to high craftsmanship and the use of high-grade
materials and and compensation elements, the Metallica
1735 achieves a rate deviation of about three to four
seconds per month.
