Meet your seat-mate
KLM already uses social media to
connect with its customers, but a
new pilot project helps passengers
connect with each other. Passengers
can now link their Facebook or
LinkedIn profi les to the next KLM fl ight
they will be on. All passengers on a
given fl ight who have signed up can
see each other’s profi les and — if they
see a connection — get in touch. They
can meet for coffee before the fl ight, sit
together on board, or share a cab
to a conference they are both
