It seems Jen and Jake are not
only in synch in their romantic life,
they’re also on the same page when
it comes to their fi nances, and are
incredibly focused on amassing a
healthy portfolio of properties.
Their real estate empire already
boasts six investments, which
span from Sydney to Newcastle.

marital home at North Curl Curl, nearing
completion by the beginning of 2012.
“Jake’s hard at work on that now as project
manager. It’s so exciting to be working on
our dream home together. We expect it to be
fi nished by January.”
And then, wedding preparations? “Oh
yes, wedding prep will be in full swing by
next year. I have looked at a few dresses,
but by early 2012 all that will be a priority. I
can’t wait to plan it all.”
Does she want to be in the family way
soon after? “The wedding defi nitely comes
fi rst. Then, sure, babies down the track.
For now, I’m happy to concentrate on my
siblings’ children,” says Jen, herself one of
four kids.
One thing is certain. The world of
the supermodel is one that comes with
an expiry date. Few do post-model life
exceptionally well.
Asked who does the whole package really
well, Jen nominates model-turned-presenter
Heidi Klum. “Her transition was seamless,
and she’s done extraordinarily well. Right
now I have so much going on and I’m happy
with my lot in life.”
And why wouldn’t she be? This Aussie
beauty has it all worked out. And one can’t
help but be happy for her, too.
