the annual Peats Ridge Music
Festival in the Glenworth Valley,
an hour north of Sydney. We chat

BUT HOW EXACTLY?
We utilise everything from solar
power to having our generators
run on 100% bio diesel. We
use grey water treatment
facilities so all grey water from
the festival is collected onsite,
treated and then reused to
irrigate the site post event to
help recover from the impact
of the festival. Even down to
the decor and dressing of the
festival — we use as much
recycled material as possible.
WHAT CAN FAMILIES WITH
KIDS EXPECT AT THE FESTIVAL?
There’s a designated family
campsite, a relaxed vibe at the
festival with plenty of open
space and a family swimming
hole manned by a lifeguard.
The children’s program is
packed with a whole lot of
things to choose from.
