with that in mind, becoming greener is at the top of our agenda. For starters, we’re
working hard to reduce our carbon footprint. Since 2008, we’ve slashed our carbon
emissions by more than 12%.
over the last couple of years, we’ve spent millions of pounds on projects to reduce
the environmental impact of our ships and help look after the places we visit.
we’re lending a hand protecting loggerhead turtle nesting areas, for instance, and
we’re working with local boatmen to protect the whale shark population in Mexico.
we’re also starting to offer more sustainable shore excursions, such as visits to
farms and craft workshops. Not only do these trips help out local communities,
they give you the chance to learn
about different cultures.
