Set on the seafront in Cala Bona, the Hotel Protur<br />
Alicia is in a first-class spot. It’s close to three beaches,<br />
including a partly-rocky one just across the road.<br />
If you prefer soft sands, though Cala Millor Beach is<br />
roughly five minutes’ walk away, while Cala Bona Beach<br />
lies just along the promenade.<br />
The shared areas of the hotel are really stylish. Modern<br />
sofas and cream rugs take centre-stage in the lobby,<br />
and the restaurant combines chic, high-backed chairs with<br />
lots of pale wood. The comfortable bedrooms are more<br />
traditional in design, but they all feature mod-cons like<br />
satellite TVs with some English TV channels. Plus, most<br />
of them open to balconies with fantastic sea views.<br />
All this aside, the property’s facilities are its trump card.<br />
As well as an outdoor and an indoor pool, you’ve got things<br />
like aqua aerobics, pistol shooting, and evening shows<br />
and live music.<br />
