Cuyo, in interrogative sentences, is very frequently- substituted by de quien ; <strong>the</strong>refore we may with equal pro- priety say, ¿ De quien es esta casa ? or, ¿ Cuya es esta casa ? 146. The same Preposition employed in <strong>the</strong> interrogation is required in <strong>the</strong> answer ; which Preposition must be expressed in <strong>Spanish</strong>, although sometimes omitted in English : Ex. ¿ Con quien vino ? ¿ En que viajaban ? — conmigo. en coche. 147.
