UTP 683 LC is a rutile coated, synthetic high performance stick electrode for joining and surfacing on stainless
austenitic CrNiMo steels and dissimilar metal joints of austenitic and ferritic steels.

Welding properties
The weld deposit of UTP 683 LC is IC-resistant in welded joints with austenitic CrNiMo steels up to temperatures
to 400°C. UTP 683 LC has excellent welding properteis. Smooth and notch free surfaces. Slag
removal is easily and without residuces. Good current capacity and good stretch length, high deposit efficiency.

Welding instructions
Weld stick electrode slightly tipped and with short arc. Re-drying 2 h at 250-350°C.
