Application field<br />

<strong>UTP</strong> A 2522 Mo is suitable for joinings and surfacings on corrosion resistant CrNiMo-steels. Main application<br />

fields are hard stressed steels, urea- and nitric acid plants as for example material-no. 1.4465<br />

(X 2CrNiMoN 25 25) and other corrosion resistant steels with a fully austenitic structure.<br />

Properties of the weld metal<br />

Due to the special chemical composition <strong>UTP</strong> A 2522 Mo is hot crack resistant and highly resistant to<br />

intercristalline corrosion. Besides it is resistant to oxidizing and reducing media due to the high chromium<br />

and nickel contents.<br />
