As Spring approaches our
Middle School and High School
students start preparing for
activities in which self expression
takes a main role. This year our
Spring activities included two very
interesting evenings: Our 5th and
6th Prep Dance and our Middle
School and High School Talent
Show.
The dance took us back to the
decade in which bell bottoms,
polyester and platforms were the
top fashion. Our 5th and 6th Prep
students took their creativity and
enthusiasm to a higher level as they
entered our lounge discotheque
wearing the most amazing 70’s
outfits in a night that surpassed
every expectation. Everyone
danced away and hoped the
party would never end. From the
recording of Harlem Shakes by both
levels to dance contests and live
performances that shall never be
forgotten.
A couple of weeks later the
stage was set, the musical
instruments were ready in place
for a night in which our most
talented students shared their
voices, dances and tunes with
21 amazing performances during
our 2013 Talent Show. We had
it all: from two amazing Masters
of Ceremonies who could
professionally handle any main
event to top of the line singers
who gave the audience goose
bumps as they hit notes like real life
performers. We had great dance
groups, our High School band, and
even a Salsa group who sang and
dance getting a standing ovation
from the audience. And of course…
our grand finale… Galia took over
the stage and took us through a
wonderful journey of their favorite
songs during their entire lives at
school. They drove the audience to
get up from their seats and cheer
as they impersonated the most
famous artists and performers of
the 90’s. Their creativity and energy
gave our talent show an ending that
will be hard to forget.
