Legal Option<br />
The goal of the Business office Technology program is to prepare students for employment in a business, legal or medical office. Graduates<br />
will acquire the office skills, business and medical or legal knowledge, and general education required of administrative assistants and others<br />
holding positions of similar responsibility. This curriculum is designed for students wishing to acquire specialized office administration<br />
skills and background in the legal field.<br />
Students will be prepared to work as legal administrative assistants in law offices, legal departments of large commercial concerns, and<br />
legal bureaus of the government.<br />

Upon successful completion of all program requirements, graduates<br />
will be able to:<br />
1. Demonstrate a level of mathematical skill appropriate for<br />
employment in a legal office environment.<br />
2. Read, understand and prepare standard types of legal communications.<br />
3. Demonstrate appropriate interpersonal skills.<br />
4. Understand and use the legal terminology needed to succeed<br />
in his/her office environment.<br />
5. Employ appropriate legal office procedures.<br />
