Modifying Wigs

A presentation of techniques for modifying
existing wigs. The purpose of the modification
would be to create a more natural effect
and superior fit, or a heightened effect
or other desired change. Techniques
demonstrated will include ventilation, removal
and re-insertion of wefting, inserting
parts or comb-overs, bald spots, color
streaks, adding length, and changing texture.

flexible and have longevity. The panel will also

that may be made by the production.

Wireless DMX and Dimming in
Practice - Case Studies

Wireless dimming has made its way into
hundreds of productions, via battery-powered,
dmx-controlled, and completely untethered
lighting in props, sets, and
costumes. This panel discussion will focus
on digital radio-frequency technology, primary
and rechargeable batteries, lamps,
LEDs, motors, other loads suitable for lowvoltage
systems, and safety considerations.
Guest designers and electricians will
introduce their work and the design
process that led them to using wireless.
