Stan Kaye<br />

Rachel Keebler, Cobalt Studios cofounder,<br />

master scenic painter and teacher, is<br />

the owner of Cobalt Studios. Since 1988, she<br />

has been one of the lead instructors in Cobalt<br />

Studios’ comprehensive two-year Scenic<br />

Artist Training Program. A BFA graduate of<br />

Boston University, she studied with Don Beaman<br />

and concurrently worked for and learned<br />

from James Joy. She has painted scenery<br />

since high school and this marks her 30th year<br />

as a professional. In 1981, she was accepted<br />

into USA 829 while she was teaching at NCSA.<br />

She has taught at Temple University, NCSA,<br />

University of Michigan, USITT Chicago, USITT<br />

Chesapeake, and for a quarter at the Hong<br />

Kong Academy of Performing Arts.<br />

Richard Keith is the designer and technical<br />

director at the Ohio State University Mansfield<br />

campus. He holds an MFA in theatre<br />

design and technology from OSU, and received<br />

his undergraduate degree from Baldwin<br />

Wallace College. He has been certified in<br />

CPR and first aid for over 35 years, and has<br />

taught Red Cross First Aid for almost 10 years.<br />

Prior to his position at OSU, he taught at<br />

Nazarene College in Rochester, New York.<br />

Zachary Keller is an instructor and paint<br />

shop manager for Penn State’s School of Theatre<br />

where he also recently completed his MFA<br />

in theatrical scenic design. His primary areas<br />

of expertise are in <strong>stage</strong> design, 3D rendering<br />

and digital media. His recent scenic design<br />

credits include PSU’s Pentecost, and Parade,<br />

WPSU’s (PBS affilliate) Musical Theatre Spotlight<br />

2006-2009, and LobbyTalks. This past<br />

summer, Zak designed the scenery for the<br />

World Premier of Adam Gwon’s new musical<br />

Ordinary Days for the Pennsylvania Centre<br />

Stage. In 2005, Zak was honored with the Herbert<br />

J. Bailey Endowed Graduate Fellowship at<br />

Penn State. Most recently in 2008, he was<br />

twice honored as both a recipient of a Creative<br />

Achievement Medal from Penn State’s College<br />

of Arts and Architecture and as the recipient<br />

the School of Theatre’s Anne Gibson Award<br />

for Professional Development in Theatre Design<br />

and Technology.<br />

Teaching Projections for Theatre<br />

Timothy L. Kelly, based in Denver, Colorado,<br />

has worked at the Denver Center for the<br />

Performing arts for the past 38 years as a senior<br />

manager. A member of USITT since the<br />

early 1970s, he has been on the Board of Directors,<br />

held the position of National Vice-<br />

President for Sections, and was honored with<br />

USITT’s Founders Award in 1999. He is Chair<br />

of the Grants & Fellowships Committee and is<br />

a Fellow of the Institute. Having spent the first<br />

part of his working career as a technical director,<br />

he is the director of facilities management<br />

for the DCPA.<br />

Performing Arts Center in New Albany, Ohio;<br />

and The Bardavon Opera House. He is a graduate<br />

of Yale School of Drama and is a working<br />

for the Architecture Commission, a<br />

Board Member at Large for the Ohio Valley<br />

Regional Section, and a member of the Professional<br />

William C. Kenyon is head of the BFA<br />

school of theatre at Pennsylvania State University.<br />

with honors from the University of Connecti-<br />

cut and an MFA from Brandeis University. He<br />

is a USITT Co-Commissioner for Education<br />

and is regularly involved in KC/ACTF as a design<br />

Scenic Artists Local 829 in both the lighting<br />

and sound design categories. He continues to<br />
