fi. The Council shall supervise the College Societies<br />

and Clubs.<br />

(a) Any College Society or Club IIDall, when called<br />

on by the Council, produce a statement of<br />

accounts to date, and the minutes of Committee<br />

meetings, which shall include the<br />

names of those present at meetings.<br />

(u) The Council shall have power to recommend<br />

the sUt>pension of allY Society or Club<br />

\\' hose proceedings are unsatisfactory.<br />

(c) Secretaries of travelling teams shall be required<br />

to bring under the notice of the<br />

Council non-payment of debts incurred by<br />

members of the team while on tour.<br />

7. All applications for permission to hold a dance<br />

or social function must, before submission to the President,<br />

be approved of by the Students' Representative<br />

Council.<br />

8. The Coimcil shall act as a medium of communication<br />

between the general body of students and the<br />

College authorities; no student, or students, shall<br />

petition the College authorities regarding matters<br />

affecting the general body of students, except through<br />

the Stnclents' Representative Council.<br />

9. The nine men members of the Students Representative<br />

Council shall constitute the student members<br />

of the eniversity Union Committee.<br />

10. The Students' Representative Council may, if<br />

it thinks it necessary, call the attention of the Academic<br />

Council to any students whose conduct shall<br />

have he en adjudged by the Students' Representative<br />

Council to be unbecoming a University Student.<br />

11. Where it is . clear that an offence has been committed<br />

by a student, or students, which reflects dishonour<br />

on all the students, but where those guilty of<br />

the offence cannot be identified, it shall be the duty<br />

of the R. R. Council to make known its condemnation<br />

of the offence as soon as possible.<br />

Alteration8 of Laws.<br />

No altemtions in the above Laws shall be effected<br />

except by a proposition at a general meeting of stu-<br />
