6. No student who has been fined shall be entitled to<br />

receive credit for attendance on any course of instruction,<br />

or to receive certificates of attendance, until the fine<br />

shall have been paid.<br />

7. Certificates of attendance on a course of Lectures<br />

or of Practical Instruction shall not be issued for University<br />

purposes unless the student has attended at<br />

least three-fourths of the total number of Lectures or<br />

Classes, or has been prevented from doing so by a cause<br />

deemed reasonable by the Academic Council.<br />

8. The Bursar shall notify the Academic Council at<br />

its first meeting after 15th Noyember of any failure to<br />

comply with Rule 7, Section 1, or of any irregularitieR<br />

in the accounts referred to in that Rule.<br />

9. It shall be the duty of every Professor, Lecturer,<br />

Assistant, and Officer of the College, to assist in maintaining<br />

discipline, and in repressing, by admonition and<br />

reproof, misconduct and disorder among the students.<br />

10. If any student shall prove inattentive to any such<br />

admonition and reproof, it shall be the duty of the<br />

admonishi ng officer to report the offender to the<br />

President, who shall bring the matter before the Academic<br />

Council.<br />

11. It shall be the duty of the Porters and the<br />

Servants of the College to report to the President,<br />

Professors, Lecturer", or Officers, any instances of<br />

disorder or breach of discipline which they may observe.<br />

SECTION H.<br />

1. Every Student of the College, matriculated or<br />

non-matriculated, James Hardiman shall in Library, his first NUI year Galway<br />

at the College,
