Regulations and Rules. 33<br />
s. The proprietor of a lodging-house licensed. for<br />
students shall :<br />
(a) Keep his house in a sanitary condition, and<br />
allow it to be inspected. from time to time<br />
by the Secretary, and to be visited at any<br />
time by the Lady Superintendent or by<br />
the Deans of Residence.<br />
(b) Maintain proper order in his house, and pay due<br />
attention to the health and comfort of the<br />
students residing therein ;<br />
(c) Report the illness of a student residing in his<br />
house to the Student's Dean of Residence;<br />
(d) Make a report when required. to do so by the<br />
Dean of Residence on the conduct of the<br />
students residing in his house, and the<br />
hours kept by them;<br />
(e) Sign an undertaking to observe the foregoing<br />
Rules.<br />
NOTE.-Additional Regulations are embodied in<br />
the Laws and Bye-Laws of the Students' Representativ('<br />
Council (see College Calendar, page 220).<br />

SECTION I.<br />
1. All students are required to wear Academical Drees<br />
at Lectures in the Examination Hall, and when calling on<br />
the President and Officers of the College.<br />
2. Students shall not smoke in the Quadrangle, or in<br />
any part of the College buildings, except in the Laboratories<br />
(when the express permission of the Professor in<br />
charge has been given) or Medical Buildings or Reading<br />
Room.<br />
3. Students shall not walk on the grass or cycle in the<br />
