4.4 Access Point and Wireless Adapter
This section presents AP and wireless adapter configuration including operation mode
and performance parameters. We describe AP configuration in section 4.4.1. Wireless
adapter configuration is presented in section 4.4.2. A brief description <strong>of</strong> AP operation
mode is presented in section 4.4.3.
4.4.1 AP Configuration
The AP (D-Link DWL-2100AP) provides some tuning parameters due to performance
and security enhancement. The setting <strong>of</strong> performance parameters <strong>of</strong> AP is described in
this section. This would be useful for later researchers to conduct fur<strong>the</strong>r research with
different configurations.
