throughput decreases al<strong>on</strong>g with lower RSS. In fact, <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> change <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> throughput was not<br />
<strong>on</strong>ly determined by RSS, but also by o<str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g>r factors. These factors will be discussed later<br />
in this secti<strong>on</strong>.<br />
The real throughput in <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> obstructed <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>fice envir<strong>on</strong>ment is shown in <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> form <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> a map<br />
(as shown in figure 5.6). The various colors were used to dem<strong>on</strong>strate different<br />
throughputs, for example, lower throughput (0~2 Mbps) between measurement points<br />
“N” and “R” was presented by <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> color tan.<br />
<strong>Fi</strong>gure 5.6: Throughput map for AP at positi<strong>on</strong> “A”.<br />
In figure 5.6, overall throughput was better <strong>on</strong> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> “left-hand side” <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>fice and <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />
center <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>fice. The throughput <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> “right-hand side” <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g>fice was very low.<br />
However, due to no obstructi<strong>on</strong>s between AP and measurement points “R” and “S”, <str<strong>on</strong>g>the</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />
throughput and RSS were acceptable at measurement points “R” and “S”.<br />
