Left: The image is a bit dull<br />

and needs <strong>to</strong> be brightened.<br />

The angle of her head has<br />

twisted her neck, causing the<br />

wrinkles.<br />

Left: This is the image direct<br />

from the camera. It is a little<br />

dark and dull and the twisting<br />

angle of her shoulders and hips<br />

has wrinkled her back. It is not<br />

a very attractive look.<br />

Right: Brightness and contrast<br />

were adjusted <strong>by</strong> using the<br />

Curves <strong>to</strong>ol in Pho<strong>to</strong>shop. The<br />

Healing Brush was used <strong>to</strong><br />

remove the wrinkles. Now the<br />

image looks much better.<br />

Right: Pho<strong>to</strong>shop was used <strong>to</strong><br />

brighten the image as in the<br />

previous example. Next it was<br />

used <strong>to</strong> remove the wrinkles<br />

with the Healing Brush. The<br />

image was softened using a<br />

Gaussian Blur. Then, using the<br />

Erase <strong>to</strong> His<strong>to</strong>ry function, it<br />

returned the sharpness of the<br />

eyes, lips, and hairline around<br />

the face.
