Practice breaststroke with regular breathing for 15 meters<br />

1. Stand in chest-deep water, bending at the waist.<br />

2. Take a breath.<br />

3. Put face in the water and take a streamline position.<br />

4. As the arm stroke starts, push the chin forward just enough for<br />

the mouth to clear the surface, and take a breath as the hands<br />

come under the shoulders.<br />

5. “Jump” the hands forward to recovery.<br />

6. Perform the breaststroke, taking a breath every stroke,<br />

as described above, for 15 meters.<br />
