Proved to be one of the <strong>NBA</strong>’s top free-agent signings, expanding his game and receiving the playing time to<br />

become one of the league’s best three-point shooters and most improved players… In his fifth career season and<br />

first with his hometown team, averaged <strong>11</strong>.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and a career-high 0.91 blocks in a career-high<br />

27.0 minutes while playing in a career-best 81 games (41 starts)… Registered the largest increase in three-point<br />

field goals made from one season to the next in <strong>NBA</strong> history (minimum 50 games played), racking up a teamleading<br />

172 three-pointers (4th-<strong>NBA</strong>) after making <strong>11</strong> threes in 63 games in 2008-09… Previous record was held<br />

by Antoine Walker, an increase of 148 from 1999-00 to 2000-01 (73 to 221)… Was remarkably efficient, shooting<br />

a career-high 43.9 percent from long range (6th-<strong>NBA</strong>, 2nd-team)… Entered 2009-10 with 20 threes made in his<br />

four-year career (278 games) and then reached 20 three-pointers made in his seventh game as a Sun on Nov. 8<br />

endeared himself to <strong>Suns</strong> fan by making a then career-high six three-pointers in each of his first two home games<br />

(consecutive games: Oct. 30, Nov. 1), becoming the first center in <strong>NBA</strong> history to make six or more three-pointers<br />

in two-straight games… Just the sixth Sun in franchise history to accomplish the feat (Leandro Barbosa, Jim<br />

made, most by a Sun since Raja Bell in 2006-07… That included a career-high seven made threes March 3 at LA<br />

(317), field goals attempted (703), total rebounds (427), assists (<strong>11</strong>3) and blocks (74)… Averaged double-figure<br />

scoring for the second time in his career and for the first time since 2005-06, his rookie season with the Knicks<br />

(12.3)… Started the first 41 games of the season, averaging 12.2 points, 6.0 rebounds and 31.0 minutes while<br />

shooting 44.9 percent from the field, including 43.2 percent from three-point range… Came off the bench in every<br />

game he appeared in after Jan. 16, averaging 10.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 23.0 minutes while shooting 45.3<br />

percent overall and 44.8 percent from three-point range in 40 appearances as a reserve… Tallied a single-season<br />

career-high <strong>11</strong> 20-point efforts (7-4), surpassing his previous high of 10 in 2005-06, including a season-high 26<br />

points Dec. 30 vs. Boston… Consecutive 20-point efforts twice (Oct. 30-Nov. 1; Jan. 25-26), something he had<br />

not done since 2006-07… Scored in double figures 47 times (34-13) after doing so eight times in 2008-09… Six<br />

One 20-point, 10-rebound game (1-0), the third of his career… At home, averaged 12.3 points and 2.4 threes<br />

with Steve Francis for Zach Randolph, Freddy Jones, and Dan Dickau on June 28, 2007... Joined his third team<br />

after signing with <strong>Phoenix</strong> as an unrestricted free agent on July 14, 2009… Best statistical seasons came with<br />

consistent minutes in his first two <strong>NBA</strong> campaigns when he averaged 10.8 points and 5.6 rebounds in 25.3 minutes<br />

in 137 games combined in 2005-06 and 2006-07… During his decorated rookie season, registered 10 games of<br />
