Richardson-Cook… Has a daughter, Jaela’, and two sons, Jason II and Jaxson… Has three brothers: Duane, Damond<br />

and Terrene, and two sisters: Tiffany and Trameka… Lists his mother and his uncle, Brian Bowen, as major influences<br />

on his life… During the summer of <strong>2010</strong>, returned to his hometown of Saginaw and hosted a food drive for needy<br />

families and a golf tournament benefiting the local United Way chapter... Also attended the <strong>2010</strong> Wolrd Cup in<br />

South Africa... In honor of his jersey number, donated $23,000 to Chances for Children, a <strong>Phoenix</strong> organization<br />

that works to save the lives of children living in poverty in Haiti, to aid relief efforts following the<br />

earthquake…Hosted “Man Up” Forum during 2009 <strong>NBA</strong> All-Star Weekend in <strong>Phoenix</strong>, a program designed to<br />

encourage young men to discuss issues affecting their lives... Took his “Man Up” Forum to Orlando in the summer<br />

of 2009 in conjunction with the “Tom Joyner Family Reunion,” attended by thousands and intended to empower<br />

and inspire young people... Also during 2009 All-Star Weekend, hosted 23 local <strong>Phoenix</strong> elementary school students<br />

at <strong>NBA</strong> Jam Session and McDonald’s <strong>NBA</strong> All-Star Celebrity Game in a job shadow project meant to help students<br />

learn about life in the <strong>NBA</strong>... Named one of the HOT 25 of the Bay Area by 7x7 Magazine prior to the 2006-07<br />

season… A stellar hockey player until the 8th grade when his feet outgrew his ice skates… Named Michigan’s Mr.<br />

Basketball in 1998-99 after leading Saginaw Aurthur Hill to a berth in Michigan’s Class A title game… Selected a<br />

McDonald’s All-American as a senior after averaging 25.3 points and 12.8 rebounds… Enjoys listening to rap, R&B<br />
