<strong>Multichannel</strong> <strong>PRA</strong><br />
1 Introduction<br />
<strong>Multichannel</strong> <strong>PRA</strong> is a digital mobile phone adapter (TA), which uses suitable GSM<br />
modules and SIM cards for voice communications and SMS transmissions.<br />
<strong>Multichannel</strong> <strong>PRA</strong> is connected to one or two ISDN (SB2Bm, PRI, E1) - ports on the<br />
ISDN PABX and/or directly to the PSTN. The <strong>Multichannel</strong> <strong>PRA</strong> mobile phone adapter<br />
can then be used to make calls via the favorable mobile phone tariff.<br />
The <strong>Multichannel</strong> <strong>PRA</strong> is assembled in a 19” industrial housing and is suitable for<br />
installation in 19” systems.<br />
<strong>Multichannel</strong> <strong>PRA</strong> is configured comfortably and user-friendly via the <strong>PRA</strong>C Windows<br />
application. The devices can also be serviced remotely with the aid of this application<br />
via LAN or GSM. The application can run under Windows® 98/2000/XP.<br />
The performance characteristics, functions and interfaces of <strong>Multichannel</strong> <strong>PRA</strong> are<br />
described in this document. Due to the use of the Siemens Cellular Engines<br />
TC35/TC35i/MC75, the documentation is closely linked to the corresponding<br />
documentation’s of Siemens.<br />
Furthermore, this manual also includes information on installation, use and<br />
diagnostics.<br />
Users are explicitly requested to read the user safety information first.<br />
