Send Mobile Data with a Prefix<br />

Mobile data with a prefix is sent from the handset by entering data and then pressing a<br />

pre-programmed hot key or soft key or selecting a service. Mobile data with a prefix can be<br />

used to send information to an application in the system.<br />

You define the prefix when you program the hot/soft key or service. See the <strong>Mitel</strong> <strong>5624</strong> <strong>Wireless</strong><br />

<strong>Handset</strong> Configuration <strong>Guide</strong>.<br />

Note: This feature is available only if configured in the system.<br />

Receive a Voice Mail<br />

When receiving a voice mail, the content of the voice mail notification appears automatically<br />

on the screen, and is also indicated by the “Voice mail message” icon in the status bar.<br />

If the content of the notification appears, press “Call” to dial the voice mail. If "Close” is selected,<br />

you can dial the voice mail by a long press on digit key “1” in standby mode or from the Inbox<br />

menu.<br />

Information is stored in the “Messaging” inbox until you listen to the voice mail messages.<br />

Check the Voice Mail Inbox<br />

The voice mail is indicated by a “Voice mail message” icon in the front of the voice mail<br />

message, and is also displayed first in the inbox list.<br />

1. In the “Messaging” menu, select “Inbox”.<br />

2. Select the voice mail message.<br />

3. Press “View”.<br />

4. Press “Call”.<br />

Voice mail will be displayed with one entry in the message list regardless of the number of voice<br />

mail received.<br />

One Key Voice Mail Access<br />

A long press on digit key “1” in standby mode will call your voice mail. If the extension number<br />

is not available the “Voice mail number not defined" window appears.<br />

Note: Some systems require the mailbox extension number to be downloaded to the<br />
