2.13.2 MCLib target-in-loop Testing based on the SFIO Toolbox<br />

The testing method in Figure 2-28 is the similar to that described in the previous chapter<br />

with exception that the BAM model is replaced by the SFIO model. The SFIO Toolbox<br />

realizes the bridge between Matlab <strong>and</strong> the <strong>Embedded</strong> target. During testing, the function<br />

GMCLIB_Clark is called directly from the application running on the target MCU.<br />

Unlike testing based on MATLAB, the target-in-loop method verifies that the<br />

implementation of the <strong>Embedded</strong> <strong>Software</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Motor</strong> <strong>Control</strong> <strong>Libraries</strong> <strong>for</strong> M<strong>PXR40xx</strong><br />

functions works correctly on the target MCU. Moreover, the SFIO application running on<br />

the processor is used to measure per<strong>for</strong>mance of the functions.<br />

The SFIO block Set-up allows the setting of communication parameters which are<br />

common to the whole scheme.<br />
