ENGL 080 English: Reading & Writing<br />
and Reading Lab<br />
This 11- or 12-credit combined course prepares English-as-a-<br />
Second-Language students for credit courses by building reading<br />
comprehension, vocabulary, grammar and writing skills. Students<br />
participate in writing work which coordinates with reading, speaking<br />
and listening activities.<br />
Prerequisite: Placement by assessment.<br />
