■
■
The chance to get to know your instructors in small classes and to engage
them in extended discussions can help you shine academically. Our
graduates are critical thinkers.
On-the-job experience through our internship program can help you get
noticed in the job-applicant crowd.
Leadership skills developed in student government and scores of interest
clubs can help distinguish you throughout your career.
And the way we design our career training programs – based on advice
from business and industry – means we can help you stand out as ready
for emerging job requirements, not just the current ones. BCC grads are
ready to work in changing environments.
So seize the opportunity! Become Exceptional at BCC!
How to Use This Schedule
To make the credit course schedule a
little easier to use, we have reordered
the pages. Now you’ll find credit
course listings starting up front
on page 8, followed by Distance
Education classes, Flexible Learning
Options and Eastern Washington
University offerings, while information
about registration, tuition,
grades, student services and the
Career and Women’s Centers can be found on
pages 58-59. All the information you’re familiar with is still here,
so check the Table of Contents in front or the Index in back.
Once-a-Week Classes Save Travel, Gasoline
Want to save gas and drive less? Consider once-a-week
evening classes. BCC offers many of the most popular classes
– such as English, History, Psychology, and many others – in
this convenient format. Classes meet only one evening per
week, and the rest of the work is done online or through
telecourses. So you get the best of both worlds: classroom
interaction and the freedom of online and telecourse study.
Plus, you save on gas and reduce the hassle of fighting traffic.
Check pages 48-50 for a listing of these great opportunities.
