Travel Study Abroad<br />
ARTS & HUMANITIES DIVISION<br />
The opportunity of a lifetime! BCC’s Travel Study<br />
Abroad Program allows you to immerse yourself in<br />
the richness of another culture while earning up to<br />
15 hours of college credit. The classes include visits<br />
to museums, historical landmarks, local events,<br />
and much more. You will come away with a deeper<br />
understanding of yourself and the world you live<br />
in. Choices currently include London in <strong>Fall</strong> Quarter,<br />
Florence in Spring, and Costa Rica in Summer.<br />

class for low-income parents. This class will teach<br />
keyboarding skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, and<br />
Outlook; résumé writing; and will offer job placement<br />

Free ESL<br />
Free classes are offered for ESL students who are<br />
low-income parents, have permission to work<br />
in the U.S., and are currently looking for work.<br />
Students learn to improve their reading, writing,<br />
and speaking skills in English; gain computer<br />
skills; and get job placement assistance. For more<br />

Worker Retraining<br />
Tuition assistance, priority registration, and<br />
educational planning for those who are currently<br />
collecting unemployment or have exhausted those<br />
benefits in the past two years, for displaced homemakers,<br />
or those who were self-employed in a<br />
declining industry. For eligibility, enrollment, and<br />
program information, attend a FREE orientation.<br />
