- Take up the fuel by means of a graded burette.<br />
N.B.<br />
THE MEASUREMENT MAY BE FALSIFIED BY THE INCOR-<br />
RECT NUMBER OF REVS OR BY THE WRONG POSITION<br />
OF THE TUBE. IN THIS CASE, THE TENDENCY IS TO OB-<br />
TAIN A REDUCED FUEL FLOW RATE. THE SUCTION OUT-<br />
LET ON THE MANIFOLD HAS A SECTION INTENTIONALLY<br />
REDUCED FOR THE PURPOSE OF ENHANCING THE SUC-<br />
TION PULSATION AND THEREBY GUARANTEE A CON-<br />
STANT TAP FLOW RATE.<br />

Characteristic<br />
Minimum flow rate<br />
20 cc<br />
- Completely empty the fuel tank.<br />
- Remove the petrol delivery pipe and the low-<br />
pressure pipe.<br />
- Loosen the clip and remove the cock.<br />
- Clean the tank and the filter of the cock with a<br />
specific solvent.<br />
- Refit the cock making sure that there is an O-<br />
Ring.<br />
- Turn the cock to the direction it had before it was<br />
removed and block the clip.<br />
N.B.<br />
THE FILTER CAN BE UNSCREWED FROM THE COCK TO<br />
FACILITATE CLEANING.<br />
Removing the carburettor<br />
- To detach the carburettor from the engine, re-<br />
move the two clamps anchoring the carburettor to<br />
the inlet manifold and the air intake coupling to the<br />
filter.<br />
- Remove the fuel supply pipe.<br />
- Disconnect the starter connection.<br />
- Detach the accelerator cable with the sheath that<br />
connects the plate and the support.<br />
- Remove the carburettor.<br />
