Using PCFP Procedure 1 Clear the function packet to zeros to ensure that each item in the function packet is set at its default value. This allows you to concentrate on the values you want to change. Procedure 2 Set the necessary items in the COPY_RAF_RAF function packet: • Set INTERFACE_LEVEL to fp_interface_level_1 (1). • Set WORK_AREA_SIZE to fp_max_work_area_copy_raf_raf (60,000 is the maximum work area size for the COPY_RAF_RAF function). You do not need to set the other items in the function packet, either because the default value (0) is the desired value for these, or because PCFP uses these items to return information to the calling program. For example, in Figures 1–7 and 1–8, the items PREVENT_OVERCOPY (a) and ZERO_RELEASED_STORAGE (b) in the specific part of the function packet are left initialized to FALSE, and the item STORAGE_TO_RELEASE is left initialized to none.
