1.3.3. Calling PCFP to Acquire Element Information from a
Program File
Figure 1–11 shows the process used to call a PCFP function that requires a setup of the
following:
• Function and file identifier packet
• The definition of an area to contain repeating return information
In this example, PCFP is called to acquire all information about the symbolic elements in
the program file A*B. A return area capable of accepting up to 100 return entries is
made available to PCFP. Procedures 1 – 7 are explained following the figure.
