Clear the file identifier packet to zeros to ensure that each item in the packet is set at its
default value. This allows you to concentrate on the values you want to change.
Procedure 4
Set the necessary items in the file identifier packet:
• Set INTERFACE_LEVEL to fp_interface_level_1 (1).
• Set QUALIFIER to A.
• Set FILENAME to B.
You do not need to set the other items in the file identifier packet, because the default
value of zero is the desired value for these.
See Figures 1–4 and 1–5 for an illustration of the file identifier packet.
Procedure 5
This function is called with three parameters:
• The function packet
• The file identifier packet
• The return area
After calling the function, your program should check the function packet to determine if
any errors occurred.

Hooray! Your file is uploaded and ready to be published.
