I am delighted to present UQ Business School’s 2010 MBA
Yearbook, featuring this year’s exceptional and diverse
graduating MBA students.
2010 has been a tremendous year for UQ Business School’s
MBA program. Reflecting the School’s ongoing commitment to
creating an outstanding learning environment for students, we
were recently ranked 81 overall in the world, number 1 for work
experience and number 4 for student quality by The Economist.
UQ Business School in 2009 also ranked in the top 50
worldwide for the percentage of graduates employed three
months post graduation as well as ranking 56 for student
rating of careers services.
As an alumnus, industry partner, participant or friend of UQ
Business School, we trust this book serves as a tangible
reminder of the calibre and aptitude of UQ Business School’s
MBA graduates. We commend their collective achievements
and are especially delighted to demonstrate the diversity of our
graduates’ personal, professional and cultural backgrounds.
Learning from their peers as well as our highly qualified
teaching staff, our students benefit from the MBA program’s
explicit focus on leadership development and the purposeful
networking opportunities provided by the unique Leadership
Enhancement Program.
They also benefit from UQ Business School’s focus on
developing and delivering relevant new knowledge alongside
the proven fundamentals of management education.
Our experts discover new knowledge through their research,
test it in the high pressure world of business consulting
(through our in-house consulting arm, UQ Business School
Commercial), and deliver it to our constituencies – from
students to corporate partners.
As a result, our graduates leave us with highly developed
leadership skills, an excellent understanding of contemporary
business practice, and – thanks to their exposure to the latest
research – a confident readiness for whatever the future may

congratulations on this milestone occasion. We are delighted
to present you with a Yearbook that commemorates your time
at UQ Business School. As graduates, you are UQ alumni and
