PROFESSIONAL PROFILE NATIONALITY/RESIDENCY<br />
Yatin Prasad is a management pr<strong>of</strong>essional with 10 years program<br />
management and Six Sigma mentoring experience gained from<br />
working locally and internationally, for medium to large sized firms.<br />
With a Black Belt in the Six Sigma process, Yatin is a strong and<br />
passionate manager, applying his experience and knowledge to project<br />
and business problems, and in return achieving many successful<br />
outcomes including training to potential Six Sigma Green Belt staff,<br />
ensuring the continuous strengthening <strong>of</strong> the continuous improvement<br />
process within Caterpillar, the world’s largest maker <strong>of</strong> construction and<br />
mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, and industrial<br />
gas turbines.<br />
In his current role, Yatin leads Six Sigma projects that focus on ensuring<br />
processes are in place to achieve measurable and quantifiable financial<br />
returns for Caterpillar. The process involves measuring, analysing,<br />
improving and controlling manufacturing and business processes. He<br />
is also part <strong>of</strong> the program management consortium working on the<br />
Autonomous Truck Program.<br />
Yatin contributes to setting product strategy and direction, and leads<br />
programs in line with Caterpillar’s New Product Introduction (NPI) initiative.<br />
Yatin’s strong technology background has served him well during his<br />
career, <strong>of</strong>fering solid analytical skills for risk identification, management<br />
and mitigation – all critical aspects <strong>of</strong> his various product development<br />
roles.<br />
Yatin sees his <strong>MBA</strong> as strengthening his experience, and solidifying<br />
the foundation on which to further develop his career in program<br />
management, product management and quality initiatives in<br />
manufacturing organisations.<br />
Yatin has a strong academic background having completed a <strong>MBA</strong><br />
and a Graduate Diploma in <strong>Business</strong> Administration at The <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>Queensland</strong>, and a Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science at the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> Auckland.<br />
