MBA Program Features

Career Services

The Career Services Unit is a dedicated service that aims to

develop and enhance employment outcomes for all students

in the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law.

The Career Services Unit acts as a key conduit and service

provider to local and international organisations who wish to

source new business talent from UQ Business School.

Students of the School’s MBA are trained to think strategically

about their career paths. Their rigorous study program is

complemented by the Career Services Unit executive coaching,

self-assessment programs and career management programs,

As part of your career development plan, UQ Business

School’s careers advisor will help you identify opportunities

to enhance or demonstrate your leadership skills.

By developing a plan to take you through the MBA and

beyond, you are able to purposefully engage in relevant

activities provided by the School. You will also be in a

position to identify other opportunities and will have the

skills to fully exploit them.

resulting in a well-rounded, capable and forward-thinking

graduate who will be an asset to any organisation.

Many of the graduates featured in the Yearbook will be seeking

new career opportunities on completion of their MBA program.

Since embarking on their postgraduate study journey, they

have developed skill sets that allow them insight into complex

management issues and the ability to identify innovative solutions

that contribute to organisational competitive advantage.

From the employer perspective, the purpose of the Yearbook

is to provide information and access to the School’s MBA
