<strong>MBA</strong> Program Features<br />

Career Services<br />

The Career Services Unit is a dedicated service that aims to<br />

develop and enhance employment outcomes for all students<br />

in the Faculty <strong>of</strong> <strong>Business</strong>, Economics and Law.<br />

The Career Services Unit acts as a key conduit and service<br />

provider to local and international organisations who wish to<br />

source new business talent from <strong>UQ</strong> <strong>Business</strong> <strong>School</strong>.<br />

Students <strong>of</strong> the <strong>School</strong>’s <strong>MBA</strong> are trained to think strategically<br />

about their career paths. Their rigorous study program is<br />

complemented by the Career Services Unit executive coaching,<br />

self-assessment programs and career management programs,<br />

CAREERS ANd EMPLOYMENT SERvICES<br />

As part <strong>of</strong> your career development plan, <strong>UQ</strong> <strong>Business</strong><br />

<strong>School</strong>’s careers advisor will help you identify opportunities<br />

to enhance or demonstrate your leadership skills.<br />

By developing a plan to take you through the <strong>MBA</strong> and<br />

beyond, you are able to purposefully engage in relevant<br />

activities provided by the <strong>School</strong>. You will also be in a<br />

position to identify other opportunities and will have the<br />

skills to fully exploit them.<br />

resulting in a well-rounded, capable and forward-thinking<br />

graduate who will be an asset to any organisation.<br />

Many <strong>of</strong> the graduates featured in the <strong>Yearbook</strong> will be seeking<br />

new career opportunities on completion <strong>of</strong> their <strong>MBA</strong> program.<br />

Since embarking on their postgraduate study journey, they<br />

have developed skill sets that allow them insight into complex<br />

management issues and the ability to identify innovative solutions<br />

that contribute to organisational competitive advantage.<br />

From the employer perspective, the purpose <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Yearbook</strong><br />

is to provide information and access to the <strong>School</strong>’s <strong>MBA</strong><br />

graduates. We encourage you to contact us for further<br />
