On the 8th inst., during the above engagement, Pro-<br />

fessor Risley and his son (the wonder of the age) made<br />

their appearance, and continued in addition to the<br />

Opera engagement.<br />

November 25th (Saturday). Engagement of Mr. and<br />

Mrs. Charles Kean. Bulwer's [play of "Money" was<br />

played for the first time.<br />

May i4th.<br />

1844.<br />

Madame E. Garcia (sister to the celebrated<br />

Malibran) appeared in "Sonnambula."<br />

May 27th. The first of three Concerts, with Madame<br />

Dorus Gras, Signer Salvi, and Miss Poole.<br />

June 24th. Miss Rainsforth, Mr. Stretton, and Mr.<br />

Harrison commenced an engagement.<br />

" The Bohemian<br />

Girl " was played for the first time.<br />

November 25th.<br />

Braham's last appearance in Dublin,<br />

.at Concerts, under the direction of Mr. John Mackintosh,<br />

in the Music Hall, Abbey-street; also Charles Braham<br />

.and H. Braham. Revival of " The Tempest."<br />

1845.<br />

Monsieur Duprez and Madame Eugenie Garcia ap-<br />

peared in a Grand Concert. Duprez sang Balfe's song,<br />

" While I gaze on those dear Eyes," in English.<br />

Duprez appeared in the last act of " Guillaume Tell "<br />

as Arnold (his original character).<br />

July 7th. Miss Romer, Mr. Borrani and Mr. Harrison<br />
